CD cover art | rear / song list |
Rosie's new CD Speed of Sound was released by Eminent Records in May 2001. The album was co-produced by Rosie with Rick Vito, who also plays guitar or sings backup on all of the songs. Some of the other contributors include Russell Scott, Gail Davies, Greg Leisz, Mandy Barnett, and Terry McBride. Fans will be delighted to know that the new CD contains longtime concert favorites "Hot Dog" and "Rock-A-Bye Boogie." The title song "Speed of Sound" is probably the most beautiful ballad Rosie has ever recorded. The booklet design and photos are exceptional.
Here's a track from the Rosie Flores and Ray Campi album A Little Bit of Heartache. Written by Campi (and used with his permission), it's a country duet reminiscent of the Bakersfield sound of the late Sixties. This is the complete song, not an excerpt.
Rosie also sings backup harmonies on several songs that are on the RON COLEMAN page. (He co-wrote "Somebody Loses, Somebody Wins," which Rosie recorded for her first solo album.) Also, some of the pages listed below in the Links section contain sound clips.
