DOO-WOP SOCIETY SHOW #33 (9/30/2000)

COMMAND PERFORMANCE:
A NIGHT AT THE FRIARS CLUB WITH JOHNNY MAESTRO!

By popular demand, the Southern California Doo-Wop Society is flying Johnny Maestro and the Brooklyn Bridge to Los Angeles on Saturday, September 30, for an evening of vocal harmony at the Friars Club of California, in Beverly Hills.

If you missed them at their last DWS appearance (Show #22) on Halloween night in 1998, this is your chance to catch the fantastic full band and vocal group (The Del Satins), as Johnny sings his great Crests classics such as "Sixteen Candles," "Step By Step," "Six Nights a Week," "The Angels Listened In," "Trouble in Paradise," "What a Surprise," "Blessed Is the Rain," "You'll Never Walk Alone" and others, along with that great Brooklyn Bridge hit, "The Worst That Could Happen."

This is a special evening you'll enjoy at the world-famous Friars Club, in friendly surroundings. The club is located at 9900 Santa Monica Boulevard, the main east-west artery through Beverly Hills. Valet parking is only $3. Dinner begins at 6:30 p.m., concert begins at 8:00 p.m. (which is past sundown for those of you observing Rosh Hashanah).

Dinner (optional) is $25.
The concert is $40.

Tables will be going fast, so book your reservations now. Send either $65 (concert and dinner) or $40 (concert only) per person to The California Doo-Wop Society, 3553 Atlantic Avenue, #251, Long Beach, CA 90807. Make sure you specify the Johnny Maestro show so that we don't mistakenly put you down for our October 28th Chantels show.
