FAST FOOD
WORDS & MUSIC: Earl P. Reinhalter
I. there's a rat
inside a wall,
his habitat
small.
he'll never last:
no fortitude.
he's eating Fast
Food.
pellets wouldn't do:
much too hard to chew.
got a bad review.
got a new menu.
oooh-----
CHORUS: Fast Food brand rat poison,
that's the rat's new ration.
I smell a rat.
II. the nourishment's
before my eye.
looks like a French
fry.
pour on the salt.
it will conceal
cholesterol
meal.
burgers on a bun,
high in sodium,
taste all right today.
symptoms are delayed.
oooh-----
/// REPEAT CHORUS ///
III. sweet nuggets of death
(half verse) and poisonberry jam
soften up the teeth.
the wolf becomes a lamb.
oooh-----
/// REPEAT CHORUS ///
ENDING: I smell a rat!
I smell a rat!
I smell a rat!
